One of the things I love about art is the versatility. There is painting, sculpting, baking, sewing, crafts, writing, jewelry making, mixed media, jewelry art, and so much more.
While jewelry art is my thing, I try to keep my creativity open to other ideas as well. Learning to paint, for instance.
Tomorrow night, a local artist is coming over to do what’s referred to as a ’paint party.’ For a set fee, the artist brings the canvases, paint, and brushes and teaches a group how to paint something.
Four of my friends are coming to paint and I’m so excited. The painting we chose to try is a colorful hummingbird on a black background with some pretty flowers. Hopefully, Tuesday I can show you what I learned.
Food, friends, painting, and fun. A mom’s night out, all poolside. Man, I love summer!

Hi. It was tonight and the weather was so nice. We had a great time and learned to paint a hummingbird and three kinds of flowers.

That has happened on this end, too. Who knows why? WordPress mystery! I have also been unsubscribed from blogs without me knowing it. I think it’s because sometimes I move around on the screen really quickly. Either that or some bloggers want to dump me. 🙂
